I am a freelance writer and editor based in Northern California. I have a Ph.D. in Early American History, an M.A. in Asian American History, and a teaching certificate in Composition and Rhetoric, all from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I have more than fifteen years of experience in publishing books and articles, teaching writing-intensive courses, and working closely with people on their material.
I live in the Bay Area with my husband and children. I love historical fiction murder mysteries, playing the piano, and planning vacations; and I am perfecting the art of the cocktail camping trip.
